Małgorzata Kurcjusz-Gzowska is a researcher, architect, and civil engineer specializing in applications of artificial intelligence in architecture, engineering and construction. She is a PhD candidate and Research Assistant at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Architecture and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. She is also pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, focusing on the automatic generation of architectural floor plans using artificial intelligence. Her international research experience includes research stays at the University of California, Berkeley, supported by the Fulbright Junior Research Award; the University of Cambridge, supported by the NAWA Bekker Programme; and the Lisbon School of Architecture. Her current research at Hochschule Mainz focuses on the use of artificial intelligence tools to support the digital reconstruction of historic buildings based on incomplete Heritage Building Information Modelling (HBIM) data.
