CoVHer | Workshop and Mulitplier Event, September 2024

The 2nd CoVHer workshop: DIGITAL 3D HERITAGE – Exploring 3D- Modelling in Education, Documentation and Dissemination was held at the Faculty of Architecture University of Porto.

The workshop included the International Multiplier Event with an exhibition of student projects on the 9th of September 2024.

A weeklong intensive work session was held during the second CoVHer workshop, involving a select group of students from the CoVHer partner universities located in Barcelona, Bologna, Porto, Warsaw, and Mainz. The public was given a preview of the groups' workshop week outcomes and the first project results at the Third International Multiplier Event. Guest speakers from organizations with extensive experience in digital cultural education for the general public and digital 3D reconstruction of lost structures were also included in the program.

Deep insights into the application of digital 3D reconstructions for serious gaming and digital cultural education were provided by the keynote speeches by representatives of the businesses such as a Warsaw-based Pictureworks Studio.

The workshop was accompanied by the exhibition of the student work in the first floor at the Faculdade de Arquitectura Universidade do Porto main building.
